This is Jef.
Jef has been surrounded and inspired by arts for as long as he can remember. He always felt emotionally connected with them and now works to create that same feeling of connection for his audience.
He was born in a tiny three headed family in Belgium and realized quite soon he wanted to become a performance artist.
Now he is graduating from Codarts Circus Arts Rotterdam, specializing in aerial straps and acro-dance.
His main sources of inspiration are, the absurdity of human existence, connections and situations.

Jef is a circus artist first.
His mind heart and soul have been put into his work and artistic circus vision for the last 6 years. He specializes in aerial straps and acro dance.
He finds a huge interest in adapting movements of his straps so as to seem as if it is a part of him. He realized that the closet to actual flying in his life time is with his apparatus and he is now searching for the recreation of that feeling. Not just for himself, but also for his audience.

Jef likes to be all around the world, that’s how his interest in teaching caught fire. He finds tremendous beauty and satisfaction within it.
He teaches acro-dance & straps classes all over Europe, spreading his vision on movement to others and still learning from every student he meets. -

Jef has been part of several advertisment campaigns for which he had to, act, dance or also just have his face in front of the camera.

Yes, the picture includes angel wings. For the two years Jef has had a growing interest in learning DJ tricks and finding sick tracks.
He goes under the name ‘D(J)JEF’.
He has done a few gigs already, but is sitting on the edge of his seat to find his way into the world of club like adventures.
